Reformer Pilates Classes

It’s simple: our reformer Pilates is the practice of Pilates, performed on a state-of-the-art reformer bed. The tried-and-tested Pilates principles remain the same, but the added resistance often makes for enhanced strength, awareness, balance, mindfulness and flexibility as we move from exercise to exercise. Our gift for completing a class? A feeling of strength, connection and calm. And usually quite a bit of sweat.

ATHLETIC REFORMER

It’s our original reformer class for a reason. This is a total body workout that keeps it interesting, with alternating themes and target areas to create more challenge, more balance and more focus. It will increase your core strength, muscle definition, mobility and flexibility. And it will leave you feeling energised — not exhausted.

PRE AND POSTNATAL REFORMER

This is a total body workout that keeps it interesting, with alternating themes and target areas to create more challenge, more balance and more focus. Modified to be safely practised throughout your pregnancy, as well as after. This class will increase your muscle definition, mobility and flexibility. And it will leave you feeling energised — not exhausted!

CARDIO STRENGTH REFORMER

Sometimes we move to feel strong, and sometimes we move to feel sweaty. Sometimes, we move to feel both. This is that class: a multi-intensity reformer workout that utilises the jumpboard to satisfyingly spike the heart rate, improve endurance and strengthen the lower body. And for the mind? A willpower and resilience challenge.

It’s all in the name. With a primary focus on the lower half of the body, this class will bring you a total body strength workout that you’re sure to feel the next day. It uses the power of the reformer springs to stretch, lengthen, tone and sculpt the glutes, hamstrings, calves and quads. We can’t forget the core, so there’s plenty of time for that, too.
